  • 1 1/2 cups water or vegetable broth (for a richer flavor)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for a bit of tang)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch or arrowroot powder (optional, for thicker sauce)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Cashews:

  • If you’ve soaked the cashews ahead of time, drain and rinse them. If you’re short on time, place the cashews in a bowl and cover them with hot water for 15 minutes, then drain.
